Wine & Stone: A Special Wine Tasting and Natural Stone Design Event in Chicago

This September, Margraf USA welcomed Chicago’s architecture, interior design, fabrication, and creative communities to our Stone & Design Lab for Wine & Stone: A Special Tasting Experience.

The evening brought together curated wine, natural stone, design, craftsmanship, and conversation, creating a relaxed setting for discovery and connection.

Where Wine and Natural Stone Meet

Wine and natural stone share more than you might expect. Both are deeply connected to origin, environment, heritage, and time, developing unique colors, textures, and characteristics that make every expression different.

Throughout the evening, guests explored these connections while enjoying a curated wine tasting and discovering Margraf’s natural stone collection.

From marble and quartzite to travertine, sandstone, granite, and semiprecious materials, guests had the opportunity to experience stone at full scale and in person, while exploring different finishes, applications, and design possibilities.

Bringing Chicago’s Design Community Together

Wine & Stone brought together architects, interior designers, fabricators, and industry professionals for an evening centered around materials, ideas, and conversation.

Guests explored our showroom and slab inventory, discussed potential applications, and connected with the Margraf USA team about material selection, finishes, technical considerations, samples, availability, and specification support.

At our Chicago Stone & Design Lab, we aim to help designers and industry professionals understand not only how a material looks, but also how its unique characteristics can help bring a project to life.
