César Pelli’s Winter Garden: Where Architecture Meets Italian Marble
Inside the iconic Winter Garden, one of the landmark spaces of Battery Park designed by visionary architect Cesar Pelli, Italian marble plays a key role in orchestrating matter and light.
We contributed to this renowned project with our Fior di Pesco Carnico®, whose elegant grey and pinkish hues shape the atmosphere with subtlety and refinement. Pelli himself described it as “precious, sustainable, versatile”, recognizing not only its beauty but also its ability to harmonize seamlessly with his architectural vision.
Completing the composition, accents of Breccia Paradiso and Rosso Alicante introduce refined chromatic contrasts, perfectly aligned with the aesthetic of the 1980s.
An intervention that turns stone into narrative, in the vibrant heart of Manhattan.
